  • Pre-anesthetic blood work to verify organ health
  • A full physical examination, including a complete oral health assessment
  • Administration of pre-anesthetic medications and pain medication
  • IV catheter placement for fluid support
  • Intubation for airway protection and inhalant anesthesia
  • Continuous multi-parameter anesthetic monitoring
  • Use of a warming blanket to maintain body temperature
  • Oral radiographs to assess tooth health below the gum line
