Bathing Your Pet at Home

For some skin conditions, we may recommend frequent medicated bathing at home. Here are some tips for properly bathing your pet:

  1. Brush out any tangles or mats before bathing.
  2. Wet your pet thoroughly with lukewarm water, paying special attention to hard-to-reach areas.
  3. Apply shampoo liberally and massage it into the skin, avoiding contact with the eyes.
  4. Leave the shampoo on for 10-15 minutes to ensure adequate contact time with the skin.
  5. Rinse your pet thoroughly to remove all shampoo residue.
  6. Apply any prescribed cream rinse or conditioner as directed.

Always follow the instructions provided by our veterinary team. If you notice any redness or irritation after bathing, discontinue use and consult with us immediately.
